A single-car rollover crash claimed the life of a Holly man in the early hours of Sunday morning, October 4.

Mack Fuller, 40, was travelling south at about 1:20 a.m. on North Holly Road, near Lahring Rd., when he lost control of his 2006 Buick Allure. The vehicle struck a tree and rolled, trapping Mr. Fuller inside.

Rescuers from the North Oakland County Fire Authority removed Mr. Fuller from the vehicle and pronounced him dead on the scene.

The Michigan State Police is investigating the incident. It is believed that the combination of speed and a wet road may have been primary factors. It is unknown at this time whether alcohol was factor as well.
